Sophie Breene is an employment lawyer with Castronovo & McKinney. Her practice focuses on representing employees in workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and other employment law matters. Sophie is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and is pending in New Jersey.
Before joining Castronovo & McKinney, Sophie worked at a defense firm in Massachusetts covering a variety of civil litigation matters, including employment cases. Prior to that, she honed her trial and negotiation skills as a public defender in New Hampshire.
Sophie graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where she participated in the student criminal law clinic, representing clients in Washington D.C. court. She was also the Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy.
Sophie completed her undergraduate education at Hamilton College, where she majored in History and minored in Hispanic Studies and was a member of the varsity women’s rowing team.
