New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination (LAD) protects individuals from discrimination based on sexual orientation, transgender identity, and gender expression. Victims of sexual orientation discrimination have 180 days to file a complaint with the DCR or up to two years to pursue legal action in Superior Court.
